Turn signal lever

Kia Carnival turn signal lever operation to trigger BVM

The Blind-Spot View Monitor on your Kia Carnival is intuitively designed to activate automatically when you engage the turn signal lever and deactivate once the signal is canceled, keeping the display clear when it is not needed.

Operating conditions

When the turn signal lever is activated to the left or right, the live camera feed will automatically appear on your Kia Carnival instrument cluster to assist with safe lane changes.

Off conditions

The Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) in your Kia Carnival will automatically deactivate when any of the following conditions are met:

The turn signal is manually turned off or the maneuver is completed.
The hazard warning flashers are activated.
A higher-priority system notification or important driving warning is triggered on the instrument cluster display.
