If the Blind-Spot View Monitor system in your Kia Carnival is not operating correctly, you may notice the instrument cluster display flickering or the camera feed failing to show a standard image. In such cases, have the BVM system thoroughly inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

  • Please note that the Blind-Spot View Monitor may present objects at a different apparent distance than they appear in reality due to the wide-angle correction required for the side-view cameras. Always perform a physical shoulder check and monitor your surroundings directly for optimal safety.

  • If the camera lens on your Kia Carnival is obscured by mud, snow, or debris, the system may not operate normally. Always keep the lens clear. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, strong alkaline detergents, or volatile organic compounds (such as gasoline or acetone) for cleaning, as these substances can permanently damage the camera lens surface.
