Power window operation notice for cold weather conditions in Kia Carnival NOTICE

Please note that power window mechanisms may become sluggish or fail to operate correctly in freezing temperatures due to ice accumulation. For normal operation, ensure your Kia Carnival ENGINE START/STOP button is in the ON position.

The driver features a master power window switch capable of controlling every window in the vehicle. Additionally, a window lock button is provided to disable rear passenger switches for child safety. Power windows remain operational for approximately 3 minutes after the engine is turned to the ACC or LOCK position, provided no doors are opened during that timeframe.

If a window fails to close due to an obstruction, clear the object completely before attempting to close the window again to protect the glass and motor.

Guide to reducing wind buffeting noise in Kia Carnival NOTICE

Driving your Kia Carnival with rear windows open or the sunroof partially ajar may cause "wind buffeting"—a rhythmic pulsation or booming noise. This is a common aerodynamic occurrence. To mitigate this noise, slightly open one or both front windows by approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm), or adjust the sunroof opening size to balance the cabin air pressure.

Safety caution for Kia Carnival window jam protection feature CAUTION

Do not install any aftermarket accessories or window deflectors that extend into the glass travel path. Such modifications can interfere with the Automatic Reversal ("jam protection") feature, preventing it from functioning as designed.

Feature notice for Kia Carnival one-touch window micro-adjustment NOTICE

Your Kia Carnival supports a micro-adjustment feature. If you lightly press the one-touch window button, the glass will move to a specific preset position designed to optimize airflow and cabin comfort.
