Safety notice regarding battery drain and climate operation NOTICE

  • To prevent premature battery depletion, avoid running the ventilation blowers for extended periods when the vehicle is in ACC mode. It is best to operate the system while the engine is actively running.
  • While rear airflow and volume are independently controlled, the rear temperature follows front-seat logic. For the most rapid cabin conditioning, we recommend running both front and rear systems simultaneously in your Kia Carnival.

The Kia Carnival automatic climate control system provides a seamless experience by regulating airflow, temperature, and intake levels to maintain your preferred cabin environment.

  1. Press the AUTO button to engage the intelligent system. The cabin climate, including fan speed and air distribution, will be managed automatically based on your selected temperature.

  • To override the automatic operation, manually adjust the Mode, A/C, Defroster, or Fan speed buttons. Any manually adjusted function will remain under your control, while other features continue to operate in 'AUTO' mode.
  • For optimal energy efficiency and passenger comfort in your Kia Carnival, we recommend using the AUTO function set to 22 °C (71 °F).

The Kia Carnival climate system relies on a thermal sensor located on the instrument panel. To ensure accurate temperature regulation, do not place any objects, documents, or accessories over this sensor.
