Purchasing used vehicle

If you have recently purchased a used Kia Carnival, it is imperative to protect your vehicle’s security by deleting all smartphone and NFC card keys that were registered by the previous owner. We strongly recommend notifying an authorized Kia dealer of your ownership transfer. Please verify that any NFC card key provided with the used Kia Carnival functions correctly. Should you encounter any issues, perform a full reset: delete the existing card key, re-register your primary smartphone key, and then proceed to register your card key as a new user.

Digital Key 2 Maintenance

Please be advised that if your Kia Carnival undergoes professional maintenance or repairs involving the Digital Key 2 system components, the currently registered digital keys (smartphone or card key) may be erased. Following such service, you will likely need to perform the registration process again to restore access to your vehicle.
